When I was traveling on a live-aboard boat to swim with wild dolphins, the dolphins showed me an "x" which I later learned represents a gate. I learned that the gate can be used to help others to cross over to the other side (or dimension). Years ago, but after the trip, I was taught an ancient Egyptian technique to rotate the gate 45 degrees and to visualize the soul(s) crossing.
I now use this technique every time I see an animal killed on the side of the road to ensure that they cross - especially since they likely had a traumatic death and their souls may be stuck. To me, the 45 degrees helps those souls lost in between here and home to move on.
I have personally added the "Lord's prayer" which I say to myself three times to complete the intent. You can use your own prayer if it feels right for you.
