A visualization to help you make decisions

When I need to reassess my situation or make a decision, I find it helpful to visualize my current path and then any other possible path.  Keep an eye out for unexpected paths which may lead to a better place.  You may see one path as a calm, stone pathway along a beach and then another one on a slippery hill that ends in a cliff.  Pay attention to the symbolism around you and it will help you to evaluate your options.

As an example, in a meditation, I tried to visualize my path to help me to decide what direction to take:

My current path was a muddy, swamp land with a lot of roots and obstacles leading up to a dark forest.  However, on my immediate right was a river with a canoe at the shore.  The river lead to a beautiful grass meadow.  On the canoe, I noticed the picture of a tower - like a chess piece.  Only recently did I connect the tower with the Tarot deck, "The Tower" which described my situation exactly.  The main message for me was that there are a lot of changes happening right now and that I need to go with the flow and not resist the changes; that the status quo (my current path) was not good for me.

If you are interested, I have included the link to more information on the Tower card below:
