Expect Beauty Around You

In a guided meditation, I got a healing message for my hip.  To me, hips represent support; so an injured hip relates to having a lack of support in my life.

The healing message was that it is ok to reasonably expect others in your life to support you, but if they do not, then simply let it go and find others who will support you.  Of course this may not be the solution depending on the relationship, but for friends and acquaintances in particular, I feel this applies.  The message was not to have those people necessarily leave your life (unless they are hurting you), but to cultivate supportive relationships.

I then saw a beautiful land during the meditation as an extension of the same message.  The message was, if you focus on what is beautiful, you will only see what is beautiful, and create beauty in your life.  Likewise, if you focus on negative thoughts, events, or people that rub you the wrong way, you will only see the negative, and create more negativity in your life.  If a relationship is, or becomes unhealthy for you, you need to end the relationship for your own sake (close one door and another one opens).

An affirmation I created and have used for myself (and need to start using again) is:

"I am surrounded by, and attracted to, only those people and situations
which respect, support, value, and nurture me."

It is a bit of a mouthful, but it had worked for me before, and my hip needs me to use it again.

Expect Love and Support
