Energy Body Cleansing and Protection

Do you ever feel drained after talking with someone or even being in the same room as a certain person?  Some people are like energy vampires and, often unknowingly, drain energy from others because they do not know how to recharge themselves.  Some people do this by criticizing, controlling, being aloof, or being a victim.

There are other reasons to protect your energy body.  Especially in areas of negativity, there can be psychic debris, thought forms, and/or lower frequency entities.

For the above reasons, it is important to routinely cleanse your aura, house, pets and even car.  There are many techniques for cleansing and protecting your body.  Some are more powerful than others.  Examples include increasing your vibrational frequency (being positive), cutting cords, physically removing yourself from a person or place which is draining you, pray, smudging, and even sounds and music can be used to cleanse an area.  I find the following links to be very helpful if you are looking for more information on cleansing and protecting yourself.

If you are working with energy, please also make sure you take to time to learn how to discern the source of information you receive from spirit and ask to be protected from all energy that is not for your highest good.

Something else to consider during cleansing or protection is your intent.  Ensure that you are not coming from a place of negativity or fear.   It is better to visualize yourself at a higher frequency where lower density beings can just pass through you rather than create an impenetrable shield to keep other energies out.  In the end, it is the positive intent that matters - be love and light.

Finally, when people take your energy, it can be considered bullying.  Try to use protection symbolism that is unique to you so that people who are experienced working with energy cannot find a way to take your energy, even subconsciously.
